In this year of 2010 I can not buy nor afford the health care I was once provided as a low income worker that was comprehensive Blue Cross Blue shield if in fact it is provided because it is no longer sold by BCBS in any shape manner or form. Today with the profiteers of corporate America in charge of the oversight process I would have to work full time to afford the same exact care I received in the bad old days of 1973. 2010 differs from 1973 only in that government the "Death Care" Industry have have abandoned its responsibilities and prevented doctors from providing what is afforded to cash paying customers. So frankly the Health Care Bill does not provide what we need a single payer universal system of health care for everyone the the British government afforded its people at the height of world war II: Perhaps if the doctors cared more we would have it. They said that ordinary visits aren't the problem, just like Coburn says above. Where people run into trouble is when there's a life/death issue that needs to be resolved fast. That column was right on the money. I still don' t see how people can support this bill.. it's so obvious how bad this is going to be for those Americans who really do need prompt care, rather than being put on a waiting list.
