The past couple of months, we have been adjusting as our awesome Events Manager (who has been with ILoveAltoona.com since 2008) has been transitioning out of the role this spring. You’ve probably noticed the past few weeks that event listings have been more sparse. (Sorry!) However, the good news is that we’re beginning to reload the calendar. Look for lots of May listings by early May!

I want to give a big public thank you to Jenn, who has devotedly provided Altoonans with great information on music, events, educational activities and family fun for well over a year — including some time in a volunteer capacity. Finally, we are looking for volunteers who would like to help us maintain this part of the site. If you’re interested in learning more about that, contact us. If you’re online a lot or have a couple hours a week free to pitch in from your home computer, let us know! (No advanced technical skills required.)
