Thanks for including our business in your website. This site is a good start to revive downtown Altoona. My suggestion is to put a lighted (computerized sign/ advertisement/info ) near heritage plaza so the motorists can see better the next event or whats going on in Altoona. Right now, we have a small board and very hard to notice. We can get donations and advertisement to build and maintain it. Same thing they have in the High school section of 17th st and 7th ave.

That’s a great idea Wilson! We would love to see a project like that happen. I don’t think we can handle a something of that size but I bet The Chamber’s Leadership Blair County class could. We can recommend it to them and we could help fund the project with funds we collect on this site. See our “Make a Donation” tab at the bottom of the screen. If you make a donation to the Central PA Community Foundation we’ll use 100% of the funds to pay for the I Love Altoona site and future improve Altoona.
