KIZ Resources, LLC
KIZ Resources aids other businesses in applying for and selling Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ) tax credits. The KIZ program designates geographic zones in Pennsylvania to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship. The I-99 Innovation Corridor is the geographic area that includes Altoona. The targeted industry segment for this area is technology oriented businesses. Saint Francis Small Business Development Center
The Saint Francis Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is part of the Pennsylvania Association of SBDCs. The Saint Francis SBDC assists those already owning a small business as well as those thinking about starting a business. Free and confidential counseling is offered in business plan development, start-up procedures, finance proposals, market analysis, and other areas. SCORE Association
The Service Corps of Retired Executives Association, or SCORE Association, is a non-profit organization offering entrepreneur education and resources for the formation, growth, and success of small businesses. SCORE is aligned with the nationwide Small Business Association. Retired business executives volunteer to work for SCORE to offer their real-world expertise as "Counselors to America's Small Business."
