Matthew & Christina Garber love Altoona.

They make their home in Fairview, near Wible's Corner. Matt was born in Altoona and spent his years growing up in Fairview and Bellwood. Christina was born in California, but spent all of her school age years in south central New Jersey. They started dating after meeting at Grove City College as freshmen, and after graduation were married in 2001. Their first home was in Downtown Altoona not too far from City Hall.

Matt serves as Director of Operations of Virtual Office Systems, Inc., and as a city councilman on Altoona City Council. Christina does part time wedding photography, but mostly spends her days at home with their two daughters, Daniella and Anya and their son, Josiah. They are involved at Community Bible Church in Juniata.

Kathleen Pierson loves Altoona.

Originally a native of Ohio, Kathleen first visited Altoona on a local missions trip during a college break. After graduation, she returned here to make her home. Kathleen likes travelling around the world, chocolate, and old movies.

Kathleen is a 2005 graduate of Grove City College and is employed at Ward Trucking. At ILoveAltoona.com, she serves as our Events Coordinator, making sure the What's Going On page is loaded with things to do in the Altoona area for all to enjoy.
